People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) wanted to mobilize its membership to send anti-fur messages to fashion designers.
The campaign experienced an 18.5% conversion rate, and 43.3% of those who took action did so within two minutes of receiving the text.
PETA used a short code campaign to send out a text message: simply replying “Y” would trigger an email telling an international fashion designer to stop using fur.
